THE VERY THOUGHT (2014)
'One: you learn to do a trick.
Two: you learn to make it look easy.
Three: you can make it look however you like. That is the performative component. And I am fine.'
A solo storytelling show about feminism, loneliness, and pole dancing classes in the age of gentrification. A pole dancing instructor struggles through a class while dealing with the sadness of breaking up with her stripper girlfriend.
